She channeled this message through me. I never know what Floww will say or who these messages are meant for, yet as I listened and channeled, her presence brought a deep sense of understanding, and I knew to share… So Floww is nudging me to talk... ... about why the program of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is such a successful program for so many people—and why it doesn’t work for some. One of the main things that happens when someone enters into AA is what’s known as a “singleness of purpose.” This singleness of purpose is focused entirely on finding a way to stop drinking alcohol. There’s an intention in AA, and though it was created many years ago, the program includes affirmations and intentions that were quite ahead of their time. We can’t really credit the founders themselves. Instead, it was the divine spirit of compassion flowing through them—this energy of compassion guiding them—to create something powerful for people who get caught in the vibration of alcohol and alcoholism. AA was the original 12-step program, and it’s interesting that now there are over a hundred different 12-step groups for all the “-isms.” Another key point Floww wanted to highlight is the power of collective consciousness. When people gather with the unified intention of changing a specific behavior, that shared intention is powerful. Some behaviors are so deeply ingrained—like deep ruts in our brains—making them extremely difficult to change alone. But when multiple spiritual beings gather with one focused intention and invite in a “higher power” to support it, saying the intentions and prayers together, it creates a powerful, healing force. If we think about it, this shared intention helps create a resistance against the energy of addiction that wants to carry on in its old ways. There’s a strong resistance to change, especially for someone newly entering AA, as they feel pulled in two directions: the pull toward recovery versus the pull of the addiction saying, “No, don’t stop. This is who we are; this is what we do.” This opposing force is a powerful one, sometimes even feeling like something outside of yourself clamoring for your human self’s demise. And the longer it’s entertained, the stronger that force becomes. One of the fundamental teachings in AA is that only a little willingness is needed to move toward recovery. You don’t have to agree with everything in the program; simply being in the “rooms” of AA and sitting in the vibration of recovery with others who are also there with a singleness of purpose can help you reconnect with your true self, even if just for that one hour. In that space, you’re invited to release any judgments, opinions, or biases—whether they’re about the people, the room, or the program itself. Just sitting in this unified vibration with the intention of stopping drinking is incredibly powerful. If you truly desire to stop, letting go of any resistance to AA and being in that energy of recovery can help you reconnect to your true self. Without poison in your body, you’re more aligned with your true nature. When we achieve a few days without alcohol, our minds begin to clear, allowing us to sense the presence of our higher power—the presence of life-affirming, divine energy. This is recovery: life-affirming, rather than life-taking energy. It’s the energy that wants to support your purpose on this planet. If we can clear out the poison, sit in the vibration of recovery, and embrace this single intention of not drinking, we open ourselves to our truest selves. This vibration of recovery is a powerful place to center yourself, regardless of whether you agree with every point of the program. I’m not sure who this is for or why Floww wanted to discuss this today, but she did. Driving home from the beach, I was listening to affirmations as I walked along the coastline here in Charleston. I felt focused and pumped up, setting an intention within myself. As I got in the car, Floww began showing me exactly why AA works. This is for anyone who might need this message today. Thank you for joining me. I love you. Have a great day and be well. ____ I was inspired to channel this message as Floww nudged me to reflect on the program of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)—why it’s a successful path for so many people, and why it might not work for some. Through Floww, I was reminded of the power of collective intention, the singleness of purpose, and the sacred vibration that AA creates for those ready to reclaim their lives from addiction. This message, channeled on November 12, 2024, at 11:05 a.m., invites us to understand the power of recovery as a life-affirming energy, aligning us with our true selves. May it bring peace, insight, and encouragement to anyone who feels drawn to it. ____ Channeling from Floww (November 12, 2024, 11:05 a.m.) Jennifer Michaels Energy Healer | Spiritual Life Coach Meditation Teacher | Artist | Author www.jemichaels.com Subscribe to Newsletter
