Energy hygiene is essential for keeping our energy field clear, vibrant, and aligned. It helps us maintain balance and prevents us from holding onto negative or stagnant energy. In this second part, we’ll explore how practicing energy hygiene regularly can make a significant difference, as illustrated by a client’s transformative experience... A client of mine came to me feeling physically and emotionally drained, despite taking time for self-care and rest. They felt as though their energy was constantly being depleted, especially when spending time around others, even those they cared deeply for. Through our sessions, it became clear that they were absorbing external energies without realizing it. We focused on energy hygiene practices such as grounding exercises, smudging, and the use of healing crystals like black tourmaline for protection. Over time, the client began to notice a major shift in their energy levels. They felt more grounded, protected, and less susceptible to the energetic drain they had been experiencing. By practicing regular energy hygiene, they were able to establish healthy energetic boundaries and maintain their vitality. This experience highlights the importance of maintaining energetic boundaries through regular cleansing. When we absorb the energy of others, it can weigh us down, cloud our thoughts, and even affect our physical health. Energy hygiene practices, such as clearing your energy field after being in crowded spaces or around emotionally charged individuals, can help you stay connected to your own energy while releasing what doesn’t serve you. Simple tools such as smudging with sage or palo santo, carrying protective crystals, and practicing grounding meditations can make a world of difference. These methods help to clear the aura and create a shield around the energy field, allowing us to engage with others from a place of strength and balance, without absorbing their energy. Silently repeat the affirmation: “I am grounded and protected.” Continue to breathe deeply, allowing the energy to floww freely around you, forming a shield of light.
