DESCRIPTION:
Abigail the Elephant, and her little poem, came from a morning meditation. Abigail stands on the earth in a bed of flowers with her wings and halo glowing. The sun has her back, smiling upon her, and Angels hold open the doors to Heaven. The expression on her face is sweet and focused, as she embarks upon her earth mission, she never forgets her True Home.
The surface of the canvas and edges were first primed in Selenite Crystals. Abigail’s wings, heart, lips, halo and the rays from Heaven are painted with metallic pearl infused with Selenite. These aspects of the painting shimmer and whisper encouraging messages to the viewer. Perfect as a gift, for a child’s room or anywhere you need a little Sweetness in your life.
POEM ON THE BACK:
Abigale the Elephant,
With a halo on her head,
Standing straight and tall,
As any elephant ever had.
They tried to push her down,
Tried to make her frown,
Tell her things about herself,
To make her hurt inside.
But when they did,
She turned her head,
Put a smile on her face,
Remembered who she was, dignity and grace.
And while the arrows came,
Her heart grew even more,
Her gaze went up, and stayed right there,
Resting on Heaven’s door.
She’ll do what she came to do,
And exit when it’s time.
Knowing deep down inside,
Everything’s just fine.
